My daughter loves koalas. Ever since she started watching Izzy’s Koala World on Netflix, she’s been fascinated by them.
We recently had a Koala Theme Birthday Party for her and she was given quite a few koala themed gifts from her friends. Alongside the few gifts that we also bought her, she now has quite the collection of koala merchandise!
I have tried to keep this gift guide as budget friendly as possible and a number of the items I have managed to find second hand. Buying second hand is great way to save money and it’s so much better for the environment.

Koala Stuffed Toys
This is my daughter’s favourite stuffed toy koala. She likes that it’s really soft and realistic looking. It’s also quite big at 12″ tall. This would make the perfect gift for any koala lover.
I managed to find this cute mother and baby koala second hand on Vinted and it was in excellent condition. I have linked to them on Amazon below.
This has to be one of the cutest koala toys I have ever seen! I love that it’s also made out of recycled materials.
Koala Necklaces
I found this necklace on Etsy. I like that you can personalise it with a coloured birthstone.

Koala Crafts & Stationary
Here are some more budget friendly options in the form of craft projects and notebooks. These would be great to take along to a birthday party if the host loves koalas. I love the look of these koala sewing kits.
My daughter was given one of these koala crystal kits for her birthday. It’s a nice activity to do on a quiet day.

I bought my daughter this cute personalised key chain for her school backpack. It came beautifully wrapped and it’s really great quality for the price.

My daughter received this Ion8 drinks bottle for her birthday and loves it. It is made with insulated steel, so it does a good job of keeping her water cold throughout the day.
Koala T-Shirt
My mum bought my daughter this cute koala t-shirt for her birthday, which she was really pleased with. It has washed well so far and is 100% cotton.
Non-Fiction Books about Koalas
I like to borrow books from our local library whenever I can, but books also make great presents. When buying books I will often check to see if I can find a decent second hand copy from eBay or World of Books. World of Books (WOB) ship across the UK, US and Worldwide.
These books contain great pictures and interesting facts about koalas. My daughter loves to tell people that koalas are not bears, they are marsupials!

Koala Polly Pocket
My daughter specifically asked for a Koala Polly Pocket for her birthday, which I didn’t know even existed until recently. I opted to buy one second hand from Vinted.
It was in perfect condition and included all of the original pieces. It was cheaper than buying it brand new and I subsequently felt less guilty about all the plastic.
If you can’t find one second hand though, they are also available on Amazon.
Koala Backpacks
This koala backpack is on my daughter’s Christmas wish list. It’s got great reviews on Amazon, so hopefully it will be well made and durable enough to use as a school bag.
